We celebrate 50 years of VEKA
Extensive anniversary celebration
The events held to mark our 50th anniversary will probably be long remembered. Together with about 1,200 guests from the international subsidiaries, with business partners and with representatives from society and politics, the gala evening was celebrated extensively. At the employee evening, the VEKA Board of Directors around Andreas Hartleif then welcomed the Sendenhorst employees - personally and with a handshake!
In May 2019, we celebrated extensively on three consecutive days at its headquarters in Sendenhorst, Germany On two days, there was a varied program for VEKA customers, suppliers and business partners. The last evening was then entirely reserved for the employees, without whom the great success would not have been conceivable, as CEO Andreas Hartleif emphasized.
An unforgettable evening program
In only five decades, the regional craft business has become a leading international company. During this time, we have always succeeded in reconciling the rapid development of the company with traditional values. And so the official 50th anniversary celebration also offered a cross-section, so to speak, of what characterizes us to this day: Proximity to the market, humanity and a feel for the latest technical developments and innovations.
The guests were offered the best infotainment on the big stage. In addition to the main show, the focus was also on important announcements. Two changes in the top management of the company were officially announced. The fact that both executive board positions were filled internally illustrates our Group's recipe for success: Continuity and change always belong together for us.
The show was produced especially for this occasion. So our success story of the last 50 years came to life:
Five acts full of emotional music, sensational acrobatics and at the same time fascinating interaction with the elaborate stage technology flanked the dinner menu of the evening. The demanding choreography of the gala program was held together by the performances of two "window cleaners": vertical artists who - floating down on ropes from the hall ceiling - repeatedly "uncovered" new content and themes on the projected facades. With live music in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere, the party continued late into the night.
