Our understanding of CSR integrates the importance of economic stability and secure jobs in a healthy environment. Based on this understanding, we have defined three CSR dimensions:

Pioneer of PVC recycling

Our environmental protection covers all stages of the value chain - from the energy we use to operate machines to water consumption and the recycling of old products.

Thanks to the VEKA recycling network with sites in Germany, the UK and France, we are known above all as a pioneer in PVC recycling - and not just for ourselves, but for the entire industry. With the founding of VEKA Umwelltechnik in 1993, we have established a successful recycling management system for our PVC products over the past 30 years.

As our planet's reserves of raw materials are finite, the entire construction industry must switch to a circular economy in the future. This means that all materials will be completely recycled - just like in nature. PVC-U windows can already be almost completely recycled without any loss of quality.

Our commitment

Within the Laumann Group, we are committed to corporate development that is fair to our grandchildren. We have already been able to celebrate many successes in the area of CSR in recent years. In addition to ecological and economic savings, this also includes a commitment to social and societal issues.

Between cause and effect

We systematically analyze how our business activities interact with the climate and the environment. In doing so, the VEKA Group focuses on climate protection and circular economy principles to reduce emissions and conserve resources.

For over 30 years, we have been recycling old windows and production waste into high-quality raw materials. Our goal: keep materials in the loop, use CO₂-optimized compounds, and broaden our focus to include topics such as water, biodiversity, and environmental protection. This is how we actively shape the transition toward a future-friendly corporate development.
