Our understanding of CSR integrates the importance of economic stability and secure jobs in a healthy environment. Based on this understanding, we have defined three CSR dimensions:
- Environment
- People
- Company
We want to create a livable, viable and fair world for future generations. As companies, society and the environment influence each other, we always consider them together. Sustainability is therefore always three-dimensional.
Established circular economy
Our environmental protection covers all stages of the value chain - from the energy we use to operate machines to water consumption and the recycling of old products.
Thanks to the VEKA recycling network with sites in Germany, the UK and France, we are known above all as a pioneer in PVC recycling - and not just for ourselves, but for the entire industry. With the founding of VEKA Umwelltechnik in 1993, we have established a successful recycling management system for our PVC products over the past 30 years.
As our planet's reserves of raw materials are finite, the entire construction industry must switch to a circular economy in the future. This means that all materials will be completely recycled - just like in nature. PVC-U windows can already be almost completely recycled without any loss of quality.

Our commitment
Within the Laumann Group, we are committed to corporate development that is fair to our grandchildren. We have already been able to celebrate many successes in the area of CSR in recent years. In addition to ecological and economic savings, this also includes a commitment to social and societal issues.
Old material is valuable
Thinking green means thinking about your own behavior and the impact on the environment with the aim of improving the lives of all through your own actions. This is something that not only every individual can do, but also we as a global company group.
For this reason, our top priority is to handle recyclable materials in a way that is appropriate for future generations. We see waste as a valuable resource that we want to keep in circulation.

Every two years, the VEKA Group publishes a CSR booklet to make its own sustainability contributions transparent.
