Our business activities are focused on sustainability. As a family business, we keep future generations in mind and we strive for a future-friendly corporate development with secure jobs in a healthy environment.

It is the people in our company who develop and implement the processes required to achieve this. We therefore encourage and engage our employees and develop their sense of responsibility for sustainable business.

CSR Management & Organization

Going into the future responsibly

As a global company group in the construction industry, we can actively contribute to achieving global climate targets. We are aware of our responsibilities and tasks. For this reason, we established a group-wide CSR management already back in 2018.

Thanks to our own CSR organization with CSR specialists from all companies and different business areas, we are able to meet our internal standards of future-friendly corporate governance - only in this way will we be able to implement external CSR requirements in the future.

We are currently working intensively on recording our Scope 3 emissions in order to derive a central roadmap for the path towards climate neutrality.

In 2019, the VEKA Group published its first CSR booklet. Every two years the VEKA Group makes its sustainability contributions transparent. Under the title "Future-friendly", the VEKA Group shows how corporate responsibility is lived and put into practice.

At UNIORG, the focus is on the customer. The company offers competent and individual advice to make customers even more successful in the long term.

UNIORG is also continuously working to reduce emissions at its own sites. For example, the company has already invested in charging stations for electric cars, solar energy and a water-powered air conditioning system (as opposed to chemical coolants). Because even the small changes make a difference.
